Journaling Hearts...

art journal signature swap - set 2, round 1 - nicci's page in pat jones' journal

once, when i was a little girl...
approx. 9 x 12 inches
acrylic, paper, gesso, watercolor, prismacolor, and pencil.
05 feb 2010

The above is a little entry into a friend's art journal for a signature swap via art42, a mail art exchange website created by some mail art friends of mine. I'm posting it here because it does include hearts, and the content of one, a little memory from childhood. This project is a collaborative journal signature swap (which is really just much cheaper to send in the mail since it's only a few nested pages). Each artist makes a signature, then we swap them in a round robin style until everyone has worked in each of the others.

The rest of the Jan and the early Feb hearts are still taped down to the painting board. Watch this space.
